"Hondata Traction Control works by monitoring the ABS wheel speed sensors and reducing engine output when excessive wheel-spin is detected. A dash mountable switch allows the selection of different target slip rates, and software allows the system to be tuned for your specific vehicle setup. "

VitViper has already been testing this system on his high hp turbo Si and has had great results.

FlashProManager 1.2.0.0 Beta Released

Hondata have released the first version of FlashPro Manager with support for the CRZ and TSX. Interestingly the CRZ receives the ability to have hybrid AFM/MAP fueling logic right out of the gate. Something the R18 civic in the 8thgen civic's has still not received.

FlashProManager 1.2.0.0 Beta -
· FlashPro firmware updated to version 40.
· Support for the US, Euro and Asia CR-Z
· Support for the 2007-2008 TSX.

FlashPro Manager 1.1.9.4 Beta Released

Hondata have released an update for FlashPro Manager. This update has a small change list, but the changes are big news. For more details on the new features, view this post from Hondata.

Of particular interest is the new MAP based fuel option for FN2 AFM based cals.

V1.1.9.4 changes:

  • Added grouping and right justification to the Sensor Window.
  • Added autotune function.
  • Add tool tip window to lambda and fuel overlay.
  • [Civic CTR - Euro] Added MAP based fuel table option.

FlashPro Manager 1.1.9.2 Beta Released

I waited to post about this until the major issues in the release were fixed. It appears to be stable now so here's the change list - a lot of cool stuff was added to FPM in this release.

Details from Hondata's forum post:

This releases adds additional tables to some models, adds enhancements to the user interface and fixes some problems.

User Interface
The calibration window will remember the selected branch if a calibration is closed and another reopened. This saves time when comparing two different calibrations.
An drop down selection box has been added to the Table window to allow any available table to be selected without using the Calibration window. This saves time when switching between two or more tables.

Enhancements (new tables)
- Civic Si added AFM fuel table and some trim tables.

FlashPro Manager 1.1.6.6 Beta Released

A bugfix release, this has a new mechanism that will keep the FlashPro from working with older versions of FPM. This will keep people from bricking their ECU and causing other unforeseen issues.
